HERITAGE
An ancient vocabulary reinterpreted through rhythm, repetition and synthesis.
Bombardes, Breton bagpipes, bass, snare drum, synths, samplers and machines.
DISSIDAÑS breaks conventions by merging electronic music with Breton heritage. Traditional instruments interact with machines in a powerful, precise and resolutely contemporary live show.
The band projects Breton heritage into new sonic and visual forms, combining raw energy with meticulous construction.
An ancient vocabulary reinterpreted through rhythm, repetition and synthesis.
An electronic architecture serving gesture, breath and live pulse.
“Bringing heritage and electronic creation into dialogue.”
DISSIDAÑS represents a new generation of artists shifting the boundaries between tradition and club culture.
Book DISSIDAÑS
A hybrid line-up where acoustic instruments and electronic devices form a single stage organism.
Electronic musician and sound designer Nathan Sellam builds a live language around machines, textures and sonic detail. Co-founder of Watt The Fox, he brings DISSIDAÑS a contemporary approach to electronic production, combining stage energy, sound research and organic material.
Bassist, composer and electronic musician Cédric Verdier has long moved between dub, reggae, electronic music and hybrid projects. In DISSIDAÑS, he connects the physical power of the bass with the textures and structures generated by the machines.
Quimper-based bombarde player and multi-instrumentalist Julien Tymen is deeply rooted in Breton music while maintaining a long-standing dialogue with rock, fusion and contemporary music. His bombarde gives DISSIDAÑS a raw, powerful and instantly recognisable voice.
Bagpipe player, flautist and multi-instrumentalist Yeltaz Guenneau has spent many years exploring connections between Breton music, world traditions and contemporary creation. His pipes bring an ancestral, aerial and intensely physical dimension to the project.
A bagpipe player from a new generation of the Breton scene, Per-Yann Artur combines instrumental precision, bagad energy and a strong command of dance repertoire. With DISSIDAÑS, he carries that culture into a resolutely electronic and contemporary environment.
Coming from the bagad tradition, Alexandre Bihouée brings the precise, spectacular attack of the Breton snare drum to DISSIDAÑS. His playing interacts with machines and bass to create a direct collision between traditional pulse and electronic energy.
TECHNICAL TEAM
At front of house, Samuel Ramonet shapes the balance between acoustic instruments, bass, machines and electronic power. His work preserves both the detail and the impact of DISSIDAÑS in a demanding live environment.
Lighting designer Ludovic Le Bihan builds the visual world of DISSIDAÑS as a direct extension of the music. Contrast, rhythm, texture and volume follow the tension of the live show and give the project a strong stage identity.
